Lockdown and emergency measures in EuropeIt is clear that many countries are now experiencing a third wave of infections. Several countries have witnessed major spikes, including Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Poland and Serbia. Restrictions in France and Italy have been re-enacted as infections also raise.
At the same time, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom have witnessed significant decreases in infections, and the UK and Portugal in particular have announced a detailed and gradual lifting of restrictions in stages. Terraces have reopened to business in Croatia and Cyprus and will reopen soon in Austria.
